Mrs. Karen Wickstrom
 Mrs. Karen Wickstrom has 29 years of teaching experience. She has been teaching kindergarten for La Salle Academy for 16 years. Previously, Mrs. Wickstrom taught in the Berks County Intermediate Unit, St. Paul's Nursery School, and the Brandywine Heights School District. Mrs. Wickstrom is a graduate of Edinboro University. She holds a B.S. degree in Elementary/Special Education. Mrs. Wickstrom has presented at the annual Diocesan Conference. She is a master teacher, and a member of NCEA
Mrs. Wickstrom is La Salle's Early Childhood Coordinator.
Fun Activities in Kindergarten:
Kindergarten is one fun activity after another. Kindergarten students enjoy learning math and reading. They become excited about reading by participating in the B.E.A.R. Party. They celebrate 100 days of school, Wacky Wednesday, and invite grandparents to Grandparents' Day. Kindergarten students present a Thanksgiving Prayer Service, Christmas Show, and Letter People Parade for parents. They enjoy taking field trips to an apple orchard and the Performing Arts Center.
