Mrs. Karen Sterner
Mrs. Karen Sterner has been teaching for 25 years. She taught Pre-kindergarten in the Reading School District for 14 years before coming to La Salle Academy where she has taught 3rd and 6th grades.
Mrs. Sterner graduated from Holy Name High School and Millersville State College. She earned a B.S. degree with dual certification in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Sterner is a master teacher. She is a member of NCEA and BCFHCA. She coaches field hockey for Holy Name High School.
Currently, Mrs. Sterner is La Salle's Language Arts Coordinator.
Fun Activities in Kindergarten:
Kindergarten is one fun activity after another. Kindergarten students enjoy learning math and reading. They become excited about reading by participating in the B.E.A.R. Party. They celebrate 100 days of school, Wacky Wednesday, and invite grandparents to Grandparents' Day. Kindergarten students present a Thanksgiving Prayer Service, Christmas Show, and Letter People Parade for parents. They enjoy taking field trips to an apple orchard and the Performing Arts Center.
