 Kindergarten
Students attending kindergarten must be 5 years of age by October 15th.
Pre-Kindergarten
Students attending pre-kindergarten must be 4 years of age by October 15th.
Pre-School
Students attending pre-school must be 3 years old by October 15th.
La Salle Academy offers several options for PreKindergarten and Kindergarten for half day or full day sessions. Kindergarten is held 5 days a week. Mrs. Karen Sterner and Mrs. Janice Bryan teach kindergarten.
Kindergarten is one fun activity after another. Kindergarten students enjoy learning math. They become excited about reading by participating in the B.E.A.R. Party. They celebrate 100 days of school, Wacky Wednesday, and invite grandparents to Grandparents' Day. Kindergarten students present a Thanksgiving Prayer Service, Christmas Show, and Letter People Parade for parents. They enjoy taking field trips to an apple orchard and the Performing Arts Center.
Prekindergarten is offered 3 or 5 mornings, or 3 or 5 full days each week. Mrs. Susan Rodgers teaches PreKindergarten. Preschool for 3 year olds is offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Preschool and Pre-kindergarten students enjoy one fun activity after another as part of their learning experience. Teachers incorporate numerous activities which are geared to using all modalities. Students especially enjoy hands-on activities involving puzzles, blocks, painting, as well as learning colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. Pre-kindergarten students present a Christmas Program, and a May Procession for their parents. They enjoy field trips and end-of-the year picnics.
