La Salle Academy Catholic School is proud of our outstanding educational offerings. We are excited to share the La Salle difference with perspective families and we look forward to getting to know your child during our admission process. La Salle serves the parish families of St John Baptist de La Salle in Shillington, and St Benedicts in Plowville. We also welcome families of other faiths who can benefit from the educational opportunities we provide. La Salle welcomes and respects diversity and encourages the enrollment of all children regardless of race, creed, or religion.
The goal of the admissions process is to ensure that our school is the right fit, both academically and socially, for students we accept and that families share and respect the values of our school. For initial admission the documents needed at registration include birth and baptismal certificates, current immunization certificates and social security number.
Students entering kindergarten should be five years old by October 15th of the current academic year. Kindergarten screening occurs in the spring.
Formal registration begins each year during Catholic Schools Week, which falls during the last week of January; however, registrations are accepted throughout the year. New students who wish to register in grades 1 through 8 should call to schedule an appointment to meet our principal, Mr. Stephen Mickulik, M.Ed.
Parents and students have the opportunity anytime to tour the school and experience first-hand the many programs and activities offered at LSA. We invite you to visit us and to see the spirit and excellence that are uniquely ours. Please call our office so we can arrange a tour of our campus.
ALL FAITHS WELCOME!
